Design & Approval Process
Step 1 – INITIAL INQUIRY TO DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY
- To help determine eligibility, we need you to provide us with a: Section 149(2) Planning Certificate from your Local Council
- Sewer Diagram for the property
- Title Search for the property
Step 2 – OBLIGATION FREE SITE INSPECTION
Archidesign team will inspect and measure your property to understand your design requirements. We can do the custom designs or any design you have the sketch of. Based on our experience, we will advise you of best solution possible on your site. Depending on the site conditions, we can prepare the drawing to lodging the application through Complying Development Application (CDC) OR Development Application (DA). We will provide you with a design quote based on our meeting discussion and requirements.
Step 3 – AGREEMENT & SURVEY DRAWING
If you are happy with the quotation, we will then organise a surveyor to prepare a site survey.
Step 4 – ARCHITECTURAL DRAWING
Once we have a survey drawing, we will have an initial design meeting and will draw up the concept layout, followed by final architectural drawing including floor plans, elevations, bathroom and kitchen detail drawing and 3D sketches. Once you have agreed on the design, we will then prepare the drawing to satisfy the council / private certifier’s requirement.
Step 5 – CDC / DA Lodgment
When the designs are accepted, the plans will be submitted to the Private Certifier (or Local Council) and necessary consultants for stamping and approval.
